More About the Show…

DAVIS COUNTY has become Temple Theatre family as the host band of the popular Friday Night Live show held the first Friday of each month at the Temple. This multi-talented band is always in demand at gigs throughout the South!

The Songwriters – these guys are no strangers to the music business! Leigh Reynolds has worked with such talent as Reba McEntire, Wynonna and many others and co-penned Garth Brooks’ hit- “That Ole’ Wind.” Scott McQuaig’s charted hits as an entertainer display his vocal talent and his songwriting skills are second to none as is obvious from his latest CD project. In addition to his writing talent, Britt Gully has traveled all over the world representing the Jimmie Rodgers Foundation portraying the Father of Country Music, playing stages at home and abroad. Jacky Jack White’s songs have been recorded by such artists as Ray Stevens, Steve Wariner and many more. More than just songwriters, they are top-notch musicians and entertainers. The entire show line-up features talent from the Great State of Mississippi!

Tickets will be available at the Temple Theatre Box Office Monday-Friday from 10 a.m-4 p.m. and can be purchased by calling 601-693-5353 or 214-938-5656. Great theatre concessions including and adult beverages will be available – plenty of free parking available!

Let’s fill the auditorium and welcome Moe back home and support the Temple, the largest and grandest movie palace in Mississippi, a 501c3 non-profit organization…Meridian’s other historic theatre!
